Example A - Highly Competent Student
Student Example A is a documentation of interactions between the student and myself as instructor. Student A is a highly competent student who has high levels of creative energy and many plans for his classroom work and work after he completes his degree. I tried to give him room to work and experiment, while offering guidance and structure to his progress. Example B - Struggling Student
Student Example B is a documentation of interactions between the student and myself as instructor. Student B was struggling early in the term and with extra help and detailed instruction and guidance the student turned around her understanding of the course and the finer points of the projects they were working on. The student will probably finish the term with a high C or low-mid B as a grade (at the time of writing this, the term is still in progress). More »
